Description
Embark on a creative journey with our 9-week pottery class, where
you’ll learn the art of shaping clay into beautiful and functional pieces.
Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, you will be guided
through each step of the pottery-making process, from forming and
shaping to glazing and firing. During the course, you’ll explore various
hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction, as
well as wheel-throwing methods for those seeking a more traditional
approach. Each week, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with
different forms and styles, allowing you to develop your own unique
aesthetic.
A $25 cash materials fee is due to the instructor the first night of class for clay, glaze and tools. Must be 18 and up to attend and participate.
