NEDP - National External Diploma Program

The NEDP® program is an individualized, computer-based program that allows you to attain a diploma through life and work experiences. Students work independently to complete a series of tasks and meet weekly with an advisor/assessor to demonstrate progress. NEDP® program is designed for individuals who are successfully employed and can work independently.  Upon successful completion of the NEDP® program you will receive a high school diploma issued by Manchester Adult and Continuing Education.

Before you are registered for the NEDP® program, you will take a pre-test that will determine your educational needs. The English score needs to be 236 and the Math score needs at least 226, and you will need to complete a writing assessment.  The duration of the program depends on the student's past educational experiences, effort, and attendance; possibly 12 - 24 months.  Note that in addition to the test scores, placement will be reviewed by the student, teachers, administrators, and counselors.  For more information call us today at 860-647-5075!
