Business Academy
Manchester Adult and Continuing Education established its Business Academy to address the educational and workforce development needs of all students in preparing them to further their education and/or enter a very competitive 21st Century labor market through shadowing, internships and externships at our employer and non-profit partners’ locations.
Prior to being placed into any of the above programs, our students will have:
- Developed their Individual Educational & Career Plans.
- Been assessed for their career pathway interests.
- Received business and industry-related employability skills integrated and contextualized into their academic courses.
- Participated in career preparation workshops and worked on their nationally recognized National Career Readiness Certificates (NCRC) and other nationally recognized certificates.
Our goal is to assure our business and non-profit partners that our students understand employers' expectations, including Soft/Employability skills.
These courses are available to all students who are currently enrolled in Adult Education courses. Please speak with your counselor to add them to your schedule. If you are not a part of Manchester Adult Education, you can register for these classes below.
