Description

This course is for English Language Learners looking to acquire knowledge and learn industry terms through role play activities and in class assessments.  Students will study how to be successful in retail by seeking out training opportunities and product knowledge as well as mastering skills on how to service customers with varied needs.  The class will close with an overview of store operations, which include inventory control, loss prevention, and workplace safety.  Designed to move at the pace of our learners, Customer Service ESL is extended an additional 12 hours beyond our traditional English programs. At the conclusion of class, ESL students will receive extra reading and processing time to take the Customer Service and Sales Exam through the National Retail Foundation (NRF).
