This state-approved 8-hour training course meets the requirements of the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection for individuals pursuing a Security Officer License (“Guard Card”). Upon successful completion, students will receive a signed application along with instructions on how to apply for the CT Guard Card. Once your application is submitted and in process with the state, applicants are allowed to immediately begin working as a security officer in the State of Connecticut with some exceptions until your physical guard card arrives (cannot work in a school).
