Students will learn the basics of machine operation while practicing essential techniques such as lining, sewing curves, French seams, and more! Over the six-session course, participants will complete a variety of beginner-friendly projects including hair scrunchies, a clutch, tote bag, mittens, and a fleece ear band.

During the final class, students will have the opportunity to bring in a personal project, such as hemming a pair of pants, to mend or work on, learning through one another’s projects and experiences.
